Extremely good with Major Powers and usually wants to take them early and often. Can either try sprinting towards victory with its phenomenal Energy Growth or build up towards becoming a late-game powerhouse.
Setup
Put 2 Presence on your starting board, in the highest-numbered land that is Sands or Mountain. Prepare 1 Sun, 1 Moon, and 1 Air marker (put them by your Special Rules). You start with your 4 Unique Power Cards and 0 Energy.
Openings
Double Major Rush
Rush to gain two Major Powers by Turn 2, then unleash them both on Turn 3 with 12 Energy available. Focus on either keeping Elements for yourself or donating via Elemental Teaching based on team composition.
Growth: Gain Major, add presence (energy). Cards: Study the Invader's Fears OR Boon of Ancient Memories (Study for Fear teams, Boon for high-plays Spirits). Discard unused starter when gaining Major. Target 3-6 cost Major. Use tier 1 Observe. Prepare Element for Major threshold or ally.
Growth: Gain Major, add presence (plays). Cards: Elemental Teachings, Share Secrets of Survival. Forget Study/Boon when gaining Major. Look for mid-cost Major sharing elements with first. Use Secrets in Ravaging land. Tier 2 Tactics covers another Ravage. Teachings: prepare Element, give 3 to ally or keep for thresholds.
Growth: Gain +9 Energy. Cards: Both Majors (12 Energy total). Setup Moon Element can provide last Element for threshold. Even giving Elements away, this turn outpaces most other Spirits.
Growth: Reclaim All, add presence (energy). Cards: Variable. Play one Major with leftover Energy plus a starter. Continue down Energy track in subsequent turns.
